Terms of Service

CT Local operates as a curated directory. Businesses may apply for a listing via our listing form. We reserve the right to approve, reject, or remove any listing at our sole discretion, including listings that we consider inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, or inconsistent with the directory's focus on independent and sustainable businesses.

You are responsible for ensuring all information submitted for your listing is accurate and kept up to date. By submitting a listing, you confirm that you are authorised to represent the business and that the information provided is truthful.

CT Local offers three listing tiers: Free, Featured (£79/year), and Premium (£149/year). Paid plans are billed annually in advance via Stripe. All prices are in GBP and inclusive of any applicable taxes.

Subscriptions renew automatically each year. You may cancel at any time via your account dashboard or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.

On cancellation, your listing will revert to the Free tier rather than being removed, unless you request deletion.

We reserve the right to change pricing with at least 30 days' notice to active subscribers. Continued use of the service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent listing information
• Impersonate a business you do not own or have authority to represent
• Use CT Local to promote illegal goods or services, or content that is defamatory, discriminatory, or harmful
• Attempt to scrape, copy, or reproduce the directory content at scale without our written permission
• Interfere with the operation of the site or attempt to access accounts or data you are not authorised to access

CT Local is provided "as is". We make no guarantees regarding traffic, enquiries, or commercial outcomes resulting from a listing. We are not responsible for the accuracy of information submitted by businesses, or for any transactions or dealings between visitors and listed businesses.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CT Local's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the site shall not exceed the amount paid by you in subscription fees in the three months preceding the claim.
